Alayne obtained a HND in Computer Studies from Birmingham Polytechnic in June 1981, she then worked for a large worldwide oil company in their IT department until December 1992.

Alayne set up her own Computer Services company in February 1993 - called Robayne Holidays (RCSL for short). Through RCSL she has spent the last 12 years doing contract IT work for various large national and international concerns.

She has been studying for a CIW-Masters qualification (Certified Internet Webmaster). In July 2003 she took the final CIW-Master Designer exam and passed it. Whilst studying, she has been actively looking for contract work building websites and giving IT Training sessions. Since getting interested in Website design, she has written around two dozen different websites with more in the pipe-line. The websites she writes cover a wide variety of businesses and also include some hobbies.

Alayne likes to travel and always tries to learn a little of the languages spoken in the countries we visit. Currently she is studying Spanish as she has a desire to become fluent in it.

As you may have guessed from the website, Alayne also likes pets! She currently has a rabbit called Jasmine and a guinea-pig called Zebedee. Jasmine has appeared (uninvited!) in some of the photos on the website. There are also 2 fish tanks at our house in Swindon.
